The Pylons Book
Welcome to the online version of The Pylons Book! The book is due to be published in 2008 by Apress
and will be released under the GNU Free Documentation License
so that we are also able to use it as one of the main documentation sources for Pylons.
Each chapter of the book will be posted here as it is drafted, reviewed and updated. We would encourage members of the community to feedback any comments, suggestions or criticisms by adding comments to the draft chapters so that we can make the book as useful a resource as possible. You can do this by clicking the Add Comment link on each page.
A number of people have also expressed interest in helping to contribute to the book. Although this a commercial project, contributions are certainly possible as long as they are not copyrighted. The best way to contribute is to write an article on the Pylons cookbook and clearly mark it as public domain and suitable for inclusion in the Pylons book. We will then be able to use relevant sections from your article in chapters of the book. Of course, any contributions will be properly credited in the preface of book itself.
If you've got more general feedback that doesn't fit into the comment system you can join the python-web-docs mailing list
on Google groups and let us know your thoughts or email James Gardner directly at james at pythonweb.org.
 | The first chapters and a draft timetable will be posted here as they are written. At the moment I'm working on quite a few chapters at once so none of them are quite ready just yet. |
